LIBERTANGO, Astor Piazzolla, Guitar solo, TAB (PDF)

Libertango ist eine Komposition des Tangueros Astor Piazzolla, die im Jahr 1974 in Mailand eingespielt und veröffentlicht wurde. Der Titel ist ein Wortspiel aus "Libertad" (Freiheit) und Tango, und charakterisiert Piazzolla's Übergang vom klassischen Tango zum Tango Nuevo. Das vorliegende Arrangement zitiert in der Introduktion typische Piazzolla-Phrasen aus anderen seiner Stücke. Der durchführende Mittelteil ist inspiriert von Al di Meolas Libertango-Improvisationen im 6/8-Takt. Das Finale zitiert die Akkordfolgen des 1. Themas und kulminiert in einem fulminanten rhythmischen Rasgueo-Spiel. Libertango is a composition by tango composer Astor Piazzolla, recorded and published in1974 in Milan. The title is a portmanteau merging "Libertad" (liberty) and tango, symbolizing Piazzolla's break from classical tango to tango nuevo. In the introduction part, the present arrangement quotes typical phrases of some other of his pieces. The middle section is inspired by Al di Meola's Libertango-improvisations in 6/8 time. The Finale recites the chord progressions of the 1st theme and culminates in a brilliant rhythmic Rasgueo part. The chord indications as well as the accompanying tutorial inable the performer to improvise both in an ensemble with other instrumentalists and as soloist.
