LIBERTANGO Astor Piazzolla solo guitar PDF

Libertango is a composition by tango composer Astor Piazzolla, recorded and published
in1974 in Milan. The title is a portmanteau merging "Libertad" (liberty) and tango,
symbolizing Piazzolla's break from classical tango to tango nuevo. In the introduction part,
the present arrangement by Walter Abt quotes typical phrases of some other of his pieces. The middle
section is inspired by Al di Meola's Libertango-improvisations in 6/8 time. The Finale recites
the chord progressions of the 1st theme and culminates in a brilliant rhythmic Rasgueo part.
