Avalanche - Leonard Cohen TRIO guitar 1

"Avalanche" is a song by Leonard Cohen. It appears on his third album, Songs of Love and Hate, released in
1971. The arranger Walter Abt did not conceptualize the song as a cover version, but in this
version it moves far away from the original by only using melodic fragments of the original. The groove is in a
flamenco tangos pattern. The key changes constantly from A minor to C minor. In addition to a version for solo
guitar, there is another version written in an orchestral style with strings and brass and also a trio version for 2 guitars and bass.
