SICILIANO Valse BWV 1031 4 guitars PDF

This is a beautiful transcription of Johann Sebastian Bach´s G-minor Siciliano from the Sonata for Flute and Continuo (BWV
1031), transposed to D minor for the better idiom of the guitar and arranged for four guitars and
orchestra by Walter Abt. It contains parts of improvisation in a tribute to Bill Evans.
Bill Evans (1929-1980) was an American jazz pianist known for lush harmonies and lyrical
improvisation, one of the most influential pianists of his time. He created an unmistakable style that
is completely timeless and minimalist. Today and in the future, he remains an eternal inspiration for
anyone who enjoys the free play of harmonies and melody.
